My personal style of art, as an artiost that has sold her works for well over 2 decades

is typically influenced by the beauty of nature, blending organic elements and vibrant textures and colours. Drawing inspiration from the natural world, I collaborate with my clients to create personalized pieces that effortlessly become part of their homes, created specifically for their spaces.

Here on my 'Art' page, you will find a big selection of paintings available as made-to-order and some original art ready-to-ship. All made-to-order paintings can be customized and adapted in order to better match your interiors. As a professional Interior Deisgner, I wrote this guide for you, to help you choose the perfect painting for your home.

Large scale origianl art work

Evaluate Your Space

MEASURE YOUR WALL

Begin by measuring the height and width of the wall where you plan to hang the painting. For a balanced look, aim for a painting that covers about 2/3 to 3/4 of the wall space. This creates visual harmony without overwhelming the room. consider furniture placement and focal points. If the wall is above furniture (e.g., sofa or bed), the painting's width should ideally be smaller than the furniture's width. Maintain a visual balance between the artwork and the furnishings.

MULTIPLE PAINTINGS

For larger walls, consider a set of two or three paintings arrangement. Space multiple paintings evenly or create a montage, allowing for some breathing room between each piece. The paintings can be complimentary between each other or one big piece split up.

EYE LEVEL PLACEMENT

Hang the center of the artwork at eye level for optimal viewing.

STATEMENT PIECE

If you opt for a single, large painting, ensure it makes a statement without overpowering the entire room. The goal is to enhance the space, not dominate it.

Remember that these are guidelines, not strict rules. Trust your instincts and choose a size that resonates with your personal style and the ambiance you want to create in your space.

Customise Your Artwork

How do Custom orders work?

My custom order process begins with a customer's request. Together, we discuss the colours, size, pricing, and design of the painting. Upon agreement, the customer submits a 50% deposit. I then provide a preview sketch or source outline of the painting for approval. If satisfied, I proceed to create the painting; otherwise, adjustments are made until the desired result is achieved. Once the painting is complete, I send photos for final approval. The customer then pays the remaining 50% balance before shipping. Below, I've outlined considerations to keep in mind before placing a custom order:

UNDERSTANDING THE COLOUR PALETTE

Identifying and understanding the main colours of the space where the painting will be hung is essential to ensure harmony. Observe the dominant colours of the walls, furniture, and accents to select artwork that complements or contrasts intentionally for visual interest.

CUSTOMISATION OPTIONS

All of my artworks can be customized! It’s possible to change the color scheme, adding personal touches to make the painting more yours or ask me to paint something unique for you by starting from scratch!

PHOTOS AND COLOUR REFERENCES

Sending some photos of your space, including furniture, details, references and any color preferences you have in mind, can be very useful when it comes to designing a custom piece.

PERSONAL ELEMENTS

Share your favorite colors, cherished memories, or meaningful symbols and I will add them to the artwork. This will make your piece even more personal.

Budget & Investment

Let's talk numbers. Determining a budget for your artwork is key. Remember, investing in a handmade piece of art is an investment in beauty and inspiration that will enrich your home for years to come. Original artwork isn't just about decoration—it's about legacy. As time passes, your painting becomes more than just a piece of decor; it becomes a cherished part of your story, appreciating in value with each passing year.
