As an interior designer and artist, I can help you select artwork that complements your space, on colour, scale, style, architecture and existing furnishings. Selections can be from my own collection or from an external source. I can help with art placement and / or create montages by grouping and carefully curating your own collection.

ARTISTS STATEMENT
"I'm an Australian artist and interior designer with more than 20 years of experience creating and selling original artwork. My paintings explore the interplay of colour, form and texture, drawing inspiration from the natural world. and the expressive possibilities of painting. I am influenced by many art styles both modern and historic - Native and tribal artists, abstract expressionism, post-impressionism, and modern figurative styles. I am drawn to organic shapes, unexpected colour relationships and the subtle balance between structure and spontaneity.
My approach is intuitive and exploratory, allowing each work to develop through layers, marks and evolving relationships between colour and form. I am interested in creating paintings that hold attention, evoke a feeling and offer something new with each viewing.
My background in interior design informs my understanding of how art inhabits a space. I consider not only the painting as an independent work, but also its presence within an environment — how it can introduce energy, create contrast and contribute to the character of a room.
Living with beautiful objects that pay tribute to the natural world reminds us to slow down and helps us reconnect with nature.
Ultimately, I want my work to offer more than decoration. I hope each painting creates a personal connection with the viewer and becomes something they enjoy living with over time. I believe that living with beautiful objects that pay tribute to the natural world reminds us to slow down and helps us reconnect with nature. For me, each work of art is like starting a new and exciting adventure.
