Artists Notes 

​This painting started as an exploration of shape and ncolour inspired by forms from nature. As the painting developed, the elements started to interasct with one another and connect, creating a network that reminded me of ecosystems. I enjoyed the balance between structure and spontinaety in tnhis piece - the way the bold lines guide the composition while the organic forms seemed to grow and evolve. For me, it's a celebration of natures whimsy and creative inventiveness. It also represents the joy of discovery in nature.
